Hey guys this is my personal blog! Thanks for coming here, since you are probably the first visitor in quite a long
time. If you scroll down the page you can view my latest blog entry, or you can look at all of my old blogs on the
blog page. The link is up there, big and green! Not that you would really want to look at my blogs anyway, since
they probably aren't very exciting, but someone told me that reading them got rid of their boredom very well, so
it's worth a shot. You can also look at my pictures by clicking the pictures button, also up there. I don't feel
like making a new scrolling album on here any more, every time I update pictures so I am just going to link to
pictures on Facebook. They are public so you don't have to sign in or anything. Just go and look... or not.
It would be great if you would sign up for my E-Mail Alerts that I send out so you know when I update my site in
any way! You can sign up by simply emailing me at applepower@rocketmail.com
and mentioning the E-Mail Alerts. (No one has ever signed up; if you do I will actually have to start making one of
these, but that's cool too.)
Thanks peeps!

I haven't had time to even update by blog once this whole year! It's crazy; school is already out and where did
all that time go? If you find it be sure to let me know. I think some of it was lost on
Twitter, this new thing I found on the 'net. It's this thing where you answer
the question, "What are you doing?" It sounds dumb I know, but it's really pretty cool and the hash signs (#) and
at signs (@) keep things dicey. If you have Twitter, or even if you don't, you should follow me. My username is
ryanhollis. It's just my name with out a space. Got it? Good.
I was so inspired by the AMAZING work on Vector Tips that I wanted to make an
awesome, completely vector drawing. So,
here it is! (That is one link on this page you should go to.
Right click and select "Open in New Tab", or "Open in New Window")
I also created this. (Open the same way as the last one)
This is my most favorite thing I have ever created. It is my poster for my campaign for Vice President of
Mississippi 4-H. I'm gonna print a bunch of these off and hang them on the wall at 4-H Congress. I really love this
picture and I think if I told someone that had never met me before, that I went on a trip to South America and took
this picture, they would believe me. I am going to hand out compasses and gold foil covered chocolate candy coins
at 4-H Congress. I really hope I win, but I am going against Ra-Kel, so who knows. We will find out soon.
Speaking of 4-H Congress I somehow accidentally was put on the T-shirt design committee. They 4-H designer made a
design that I really really detested to I made my
own logo (Ditto) and showed it to the team and they loved it. Now my design is going to be printed on several
hundred T-shirts and they are going to be given to every 4-H-er at Congress. Isn't that really cool?
I did something really cool and old skool today. I wrote a letter! For my senior project I am going to design the
album art and booklet for a CD. That's why I am designing all of this stuff. I want to know what I am doing by the
time I make the real deal. So anyway, I wrote a letter to Taylor Swift (my FAV) asking if I could design an album art for
her next album. Wouldn't that be the BEST senior project ever? I also decided it would increase my chances of it
being read by about a bazillion if I handwrote it on handmade red rice paper, and sealed the white handmade rice paper
envelope with red and gold sealing wax stamped with the letter "H" for Hollis. (Note: the paper wasn't made by me,
it was people in the Philippines.) I'm pretty sure that if I was a super famous rock star I would read and pay
lots of attention to a letter that had as much care in creation as mine. It was really kind of fun writting a l
etter and playing with fire to melt sealing wax onto the envelope. If you are lucky enough I might write you one!
This summer is going to be crazy. I looked at my calendar on my iPhone and discovered that have 31 days this summer
with nothing to do. I am gonna be all over the place. Every district in Mississippi for project accheivement days,
MSU, Washington DC, Verona Ag Center, MSU again, Jackson, MSU a third time, and even more stuff to do in between
those things. I am not gonna have enough time to get the summer time blues, unless I do so much I get blue in the
face!
I'm tired and I am going to bed. Enough typing for now, even though that doesn't near catch me up with the last
time I updated my blog. If you know me, then you probably know, and if you don't know me you shouldn't want to know
unless you are really cool. Then you can just ask me.
Holla!
